and base), spare tank or spare lid. FisherbrandTM Parts/Accessories for OmniPAGE Mini Vertical Electrophoresis System are used for applications involving the separation of proteins and nuclueic acids in poly-acrilamide gels.
• Electrophoresis Tank: Holds the gel module with cast gels/samples and the buffer solution; connects to an external power source
• Safety Lid: Ensures the correct polarity and orientation of electrodes; fits easily onto tank
• External Casting System: includes upstand and base with silicone mat; securely holds gel module while casting gel. All parts may be used with glass plates/PAGE insert, blotting insert or tube gel insert.
